THE INVERSE SQUARE LAW ANOMALY The links below are to the Sections of the paper on the inverse square law anomaly of gravitational theory, its resolution and the astronomical and cosmological consequences of the resolution. |
Introduction - The first section contains a title page, a brief abstract, and the main introduction. Resolution of the Anomaly. - The second section provides a brief decription of the anomaly, followed by a proposed solution for the Relativistic Domain theory of gravitation. This is accomplished by ascribing to three dimentional space a physical attribute similar to elasticity. The result is that a new constant retardation term is added to the field's Acceleration Potential. This ensures that the gravitational field of any source terminates at a finite distance from it. The Value of the Proportionality Constant. - The third Section derives a value for the proportionality constant introduced in the previous Section, by equating the modified Acceleration Potential constant retardation term to that of the Pioneer Anomaly. This also provides a speculative solution to that anomaly in the absence of other investigative results. Conclusions - Concluding Remarks. Appendix A - The Appendix provides the astronomical and cosmological consequences of the modification in relation to the gravitational fields of the Earth, the Sun and the entire Universe. |
